In 2022, House Bill 4010 presented a more detailed framework to regulate Kratom manufacturing and sales. It made it compulsory for sellers to register with the Department of Revenue.

- The max concentration of 7-hydroxy-mitragynine is 2%.
- Those under 21 would not be able to buy any Kratom products.
- Selling adulterated Speciosa with synthetic substances or harmful ingredients is strictly prohibited.
- Those violating the laws would be fined heavily.
